1. Information We Collect
EDDM AutoFill does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).
The extension stores user data locally in your browser using localStorage and IndexedDB. This includes:
- Mailer profiles you enter
- Upload history of processed PDF files
- Local settings related to app preferences
This data is only accessible by you and is never sent to any remote server.
2. Data Usage
All data entered and generated within the app:
- Stays in your browser
- Is used solely to automate and fill out USPS EDDM forms and route slips
- Is never shared, tracked, or transmitted externally
We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies.
3. Data Security
Since all data remains local in your browser, it is as secure as your device and browser.
We recommend not using public or shared computers when entering sensitive information.
4. Permissions
This extension uses the following permissions:
- activeTab: to inject the tool into your current tab
- scripting: to display the app overlay interface
These permissions are only used to run the extension on user request and are not used to read, log, or send any data from websites you visit.
5. External Services
This extension loads an embedded interface from https://eddm-autofill.netlify.app, which is controlled and maintained by the developer.
That domain does not track or collect any user data and is used only to serve the app’s user interface.
